We started off by discussing the Duit article. Hunter put some questions up on the board, which my group largely ignored. I'm not sure if it was that they read the questions and elected not to discuss them or didn't even look at the questions -- I actually think it's the latter. A brief discussion by the whole group was followed with the prompt (I think?) to list on their white boards some object-like properties. This felt weird to me - they listed things like texture, "has mass and takes up space," volume, is measureable, etc. Hunter came by and refocused the conversation - got into interesting questions of matter, energy, and 'taking up space.' Whole group discussion followed.
Following a break, there was some work on Energy Theater of an elevator lowering to the ground. They worked on this up until lunch, to perform after lunch.
