Assessment
Prior to this conversation there was a discussion on
assessment and how we evaluate students. Cynthia spoke of the European model of
students having to articulate what they know in front of the teacher/class.
This clip spoke to some common components/issues of standards and
assessment. Probably the most fascinating part of the video for me was that
Cynthia was identifying kids in 5th grade as advanced and regular
education.
