Idea #2
I’m writing this on behalf of Sam and expecting that she will correct me if I have mis-spoken. She (and Rachel) articulated that Leslie described her sense that she and Stamatis were teaching two (different) classes concurrently since their instructional styles are so different. It would be interesting to watch (and compare) the interactions that happen: (1) between Leslie and groups and (2) between Stamatis and groups…and then maybe sequential interactions…
In your Day One, Part Two post,
ReplyDeletehttp://scherrenergyproject.blogspot.com/2011/08/reflections-day-one-energy-two-amy-two.html, Leslie sat down right after Stamatis left. Stamatis had been proposing a particular direction for the conversation, and Leslie said not a word. Does that happen regularly, do you think?
I don't think my sample size is big enough to say. That did happen on day one for the group I observed, but on day two (afternoon), only Leslie interacted with the group. Today, there were mainly group discussions.
