I have not heard of Energy Theater before this year and I wish I had! It would have been amazing to teach this last year when I had the chance! One thing that my colleagues and I at KSTF (Knowles Science Teaching Fellowship) have been working on is a sort of similar lesson plan involving the energy in circuits. Here, we combined a paper that I am attaching below called "Electron Runaround" with energy. We think that we will be using some sort of card system to show a set amount of energy instead of people but we are still working on this idea. I would love to work on this more using a more Energy Theater approach -but here we have the students as charges and the cards as energy. Do you think this representation will still be effective?
