I am starting an investigation for which I need to watch a long stretch of video - an hour and a half, which if you know me, is a lot. When watching a long session of interaction unfold it's very useful to keep what's called a "content log," which is just a set of running notes documenting what's happening when so that you can find it again later. I also find that content logging helps me stay engaged.
Inqscribe is ideal for this: instead of transcribing, you just write whatever it is you want to write, and insert time stamps for every note you make. When you go back to your log later, you click on the time stamp and it takes you to that moment in the movie. If you create a content log in your own work, save it in the Episodes folder for your class.
thats a great idea, thanks!
